Located in Madison, WI, Frank Productions, Inc. (FPI) was established in 1965 and is one of the largest independent concert promotion companies in the United States.  We’re a full-service concert promotion company involved in every facet of live entertainment events, including talent buying, production, ticketing, marketing, sponsorships, food & beverage operations and merchandising.  We produce and promote events in arenas, performing arts centers, theaters, clubs and other venues across the U.S.  We have more than fifty employees and offices in Madison, WI, Boise, ID and Nashville, TN.


Frank Productions, Inc. (FPI) is looking for an IT Coordinator to assist us as we continue our local and national growth. Under the direction of the CEO, CFO, or other designated supervisor, the IT Coordinator provides administrative and technical assistance in support of the information technology function, and administrative support to the management team, in accordance with FPI’s policies, values and goals.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in IT operations and administration in a company of similar size and complexity to FPI.  The successful candidate will be able to work independently, take initiative, be very well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges and opportunities of supporting the operations of a diverse, growing and fast-paced team. Ambidexterity in both PC and Mac environments is crucial, as is the ability to provide in-person, email and telephone support to users with varying levels of technical savvy. Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.


The following list of responsibilities is intended as a general overview of the IT Coordinator duties:

  • Set up user accounts and resolve user problems, user requests and user errors both in-person and remotely
  • Monitor daily activities of multi-user computer systems
  • Troubleshoot and support major computer networks, including performing system backups and recovery
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems for users in all offices, triage trouble reports, and provide direct resolution services
  • Maintain familiarity and comfort with all company hardware and software, including PCs, Macs, Office 365, SharePoint, Acumatica accounting software, Aloha point-of-sale software, etc.
  • Assist FPI’s management team in the develop of a robust technology asset management program, including hardware purchasing protocols and Apple/PC integration
  • Assist FPI in the selection of new applications and hardware, including point-of-sale systems, desktop hardware, etc.
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot new applications and hardware
  • Serve as FPI’s primary point of contact with external vendors providing design, implementation, installation, and repair for computer, telephone, server, hardware, software and network equipment
  • Maintain and manage the company’s cellphone plans and provide user support for cellphones and mobile devices
  • Maintain and manage company confidentiality and security of information systems and data
  • Organize, prepare, analyze and interpret data to find and resolve problems


The successful candidate will have proven IT operations and administrative experience, excellent time management and prioritization skills, the ability to trouble-shoot and solve problems independently, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a pleasant and friendly personality, proficiency in MS Office software, and a desire to learn and grow with FPI.

This is a non-exempt position expected to work forty (40) hours per week. This position is an at-will position, meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time without notice or cause. The initial compensation will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience.
