Tour Announced For North America This Fall

Dispatch to Play Their Favorite Intimate Venues in First Ever Acoustic Tour

“Only The Wild Ones” Marks the Bands First Top 10 Hit at AAA Radio

NEW YORK, NY (11 September 2017) – Dispatch are thrilled to announce AN ACOUSTIC EVENING WITH DISPATCH – their first ever acoustic tour! Kicking off November 26th in Vancouver, BC, the band will perform two sets of music with a break for intermission each night. The North American tour will bring the band to the West Coast and Canada for the first time in support of their new album America, Location 12 including stops at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, The Kessler Theatre in Dallas, The Fillmore in San Francisco, among many more of the band’s favorite historic theatres along the way. The tour will wrap up with three very intimate hometown shows at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club in December which will also celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Calling All Crows – Stokes’ non-profit – joining in the fight for women’s rights through service and activism.

Fan Presales begin on Wednesday, September 13 at 12PM venue local time (password: LOCATION12) and the general on-sale kicks off this Friday, September 15. Visit www.dispatchmusic.com for ticket links and more info.

America, Location 12 has spawned the band’s first ever Top 10 single at AAA Radio in “Only the Wild Ones.” In addition to entering the Top 10 at radio, “Only The Wild Ones” also achieved several streaming milestones as it crossed 5 million plays at Spotify with over 1 million monthly listeners for the first time. The band released a deeply personal video for the track last month, highlighting some of the inspiring individuals and organizations that they have crossed paths with throughout their career. Check out the video here!

This week, the band heads overseas for their first European Tour in five years. The European tour follows the band’s highly successful summer run in the US, where they kicked off tour with a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheater show and wrapped it with a headlining set to over 12,000 fans at Levitate Festival.

America, Location 12 is out now via Bomber Records/Kobalt and is Dispatch’s first effort in five years. For the most up to date information, please visit www.dispatchmusic.com.

Heralded as one of the biggest independent rock bands in history, DISPATCH officially split up in 2004 with a farewell show in Boston that drew 110,000 people and was dubbed as the largest independent music event in history (Rolling Stone). Three years later, the band came back together for three consecutive shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in ties to their philanthropic work in Zimbabwe, becoming the first independent band to sell out the historic venue. In 2011, the band officially reunited to release new material, including a six-song EP and their first full-length studio album since 2000, Circles Around the Sun. They have since embarked on multiple sold out arena tours across the globe and are set to release their most ambitious musical effort to date Summer 2017.
